Game Developer Internship (3 months, two days per week minimum)

What is CHANGE LAB™?
There’s something different going on here. This is not the same old lectures and videos. Nope.
We’re talking interactive. We are developing a gamified software classroom for fundraising training-
a fun, crazy, engaging experience. Oh, and by the way, fun and crazy is how we all learn best. We
have invested the past three years into developing a highly engaging learning experience that works.
Developed by senior nonprofit leaders and headquartered in downtown Los Angeles, it is fully
launching in Q3 2022 (


As an intern, you will have an opportunity to use your proficient game design/engineering skills and
your interest in games to apprentice with a philanthropy firm on an exciting edu tech product.
Responsibilities will include:
• Support the lead engineer with back-end web development projects towards launch
• Create game design and implement animation to create the game segments of the learning
• Ideate new segments of the game; brainstorm and discuss the game development
• Coordinate with animators and content teams
• Participate in beta testing and design/game feedback and resolve test issues
• Experience with JavaScript, Node, and React or any VR experience is a huge plus


Must have good oral and written communication skills as well as proficiency in game development
elements. Ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, works well with a team as well as independently, has a
flexible schedule that allows for Tues-Fri onsite in the downtown Los Angeles office. Remote for the
right candidate considered. Important that the ideal candidate is interested in committing to roughly a
three-month minimum engagement.


Student course credit is offered, as available with your school, or for non-students we offer a stipend
of $300 stipend/at 3 months of successful work.
