Karen Routt brings expertise that spans three decades of experience in the private, entrepreneurial, non-profit, and government sectors. Most recently she founded a technology-based communication tool that simplified senior housing management resident outreach. As an independent consultant, she has been engaged in world-renowned corporate, research and educational institutions. Early in her career she was employed at top-tier consulting firms where she provided information technology solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Later, she brought her private-sector skills to the public sector as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Cambridge, MA. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Applied Mathematics from the University of Michigan. She has volunteered extensively for non-profit boards, as a trustee for the Cambridge Health Alliance and with Stanford University alumni groups.
